Maison Bollinger’s latest Champagne release, PN TX20, is a terroir-driven Blanc de Noirs showcasing the elegance, depth, and complexity of Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims.
In the rarefied world of Champagne, few names inspire as much reverence as Bollinger. The newest edition in its acclaimed PN collection, the PN TX20, is a stunning exploration of Pinot Noir’s diversity – offering a precise, expressive, and gastronomically versatile cuvée made exclusively from this noble grape.
As its name suggests, PN TX20 draws from the cru of Tauxières, a village in the Montagne de Reims known for its chalk and clay soils. The base year, 2020, brought extreme conditions – from a hot, dry summer to staggered harvests in September – resulting in fruit with tension, energy and ripeness. Over 50% of the blend comes from reserve wines, including magnum-aged components from 2008 and 2012, lending structure and a seductive complexity.

Tasting Notes
On the nose, PN TX20 opens with fresh citrus, lemon zest and white stone fruit – peach and quince – layered over subtle flinty minerality. On the palate, it begins with redcurrant brightness, unfolding into stewed fruits, savoury depth, and that trademark Bollinger vinosity. A long, mineral-laced finish and a moderate dosage of 8g/l maintain perfect balance between richness and precision.
Food Pairing and Availability
With its layered profile and vinous texture, PN TX20 is perfect for bold food pairings. Think lobster à l’Amoricaine, roast guinea fowl, or white truffle Pecorino with hazelnuts and seeded bread.
As Bollinger approaches its 200th anniversary in 2029, PN TX20 stands as a testament to the House’s craftsmanship, commitment to terroir, and continual reinvention.
Bollinger PN TX20 retails at £95 from selected UK wine merchants such as The Champagne Company and Champagne Direct.
