The SEABOB SE63

Lamborghini Takes the Plunge

What happens when you cross Italian supercar DNA with German engineering precision and throw in a healthy dose of aquatic ambition? The answer will floating – quite literally – on superyacht decks across the Mediterranean next summer. Meet the SEABOB SE63, a collaboration between CAYAGO AG and Automobili Lamborghini that’s making serious waves in the luxury water toy market.

Performance Meets Prestige

This isn’t your average pool noodle. The SE63 – named for ‘Special Edition’ and Lamborghini’s 1963 founding year – is essentially a Huracán for the high seas. At just 35kg, this electric water scooter packs a 6.3 kW motor delivering 162 TP (thrust performance) that’ll have you slicing through water like a hot knife through butter.

Cockpit of the new Seabob SE63

The cockpit of the Seabob SE63 features Lamborghini-styled numerals on its digital speedometer, a signature Lamborghini start button, and the use of premium materials like titanium and magnesium, along with carbon fibre.

The design language is unmistakably Raging Bull, including the angular front faschia with sunken, hexagonal lights and Lamborghini paint colours. Pop open the cockpit and you’re greeted by that legendary Lamborghini start button, complete with the familiar carbon fibre detailing that graces their four-wheeled siblings. Even the digital speedometer sports those distinctive Lambo digits – because even underwater, style matters.

Engineering Excellence

But it’s the engineering that truly impresses. Titanium and magnesium components, a carbon fibre motor shaft, and electrically extending side wings transform this from mere toy to serious watercraft. Two driving modes cater to different thrills: Normal for genteel underwater exploration, and Sport mode for when you fancy channelling your inner submarine commander at full tilt.

The onboard battery provides an average operating time of 60 minutes, giving you ample time to explore beneath the waves before needing a recharge. When power runs low, the quick charger brings the battery back to full capacity in just 1.5 hours – barely enough time for a leisurely lunch on deck.

The Seabobs SE63 has a new-generation electric drive system with 162 TP of thrust, integrated Driving Stability System with electric side wings for enhanced stability and an optional Performance Board for lift and further high-speed stability, as this toy can reach 35 km/h.

The optional Performance Board elevates things further – literally. Adopt a prone position and watch the SEABOB SE63 plane across the surface at speeds touching 35km/h (that feels seriously fast when your nose is two inches from the water), thanks to an ingenious underside foil that generates lift faster than you can say ‘Sant’Agata Bolognese’. That’s roughly 22 mph, which makes this the fastest SEABOB ever created and puts Olympic swimmers firmly in the shade.

The Ultimate Aquatic Accessory

The precision handling feels remarkably similar to piloting a Lamborghini on land. Every turn demonstrates the rigidity and responsiveness that comes from using premium materials throughout. The new wing system keeps the craft stable even in choppy conditions, whilst ergonomically optimised control grips ensure you maintain total confidence at high speeds.

Availability and Exclusivity

Of course, exclusivity comes at a premium. Production doesn’t begin until summer 2026, with availability through select SEABOB partners. Whilst pricing hasn’t been officially announced, existing SEABOB models range from approximately £8,500 to £11,500, suggesting the Lamborghini edition will command a substantial premium befitting its exclusive pedigree.

For superyacht owners seeking the ultimate aquatic accessory, the SE63 promises to deliver that perfect marriage of Italian flair and zero-emission fun. After all, why should landlubbers have all the Lamborghini excitement?
