Bulgari and Save The Children celebrate their enduring partnership

With the world so often in turmoil, it’s often the children who are the most vulnerable, and that gives even deeper meaning to the long-running partnership between Bulgari and Save The Children.

Since 2009, the time-honored Italian jewelry house has stood side-by-side with the children’s charity, and they have chosen to mark this 15-year milestone with an exquisite custom-made necklace.

On the occasion of this special anniversary, Bulgari has decided to renew once more its commitment through the release of the new #WITHMEWITHYOU campaign and the introduction of a new pendant necklace in the custom-made jewelry collection. Inspired by the signature line B.zero1 Rock, the sterling silver necklace features a round pendant with edgy metallic studs. From its £700 retail price, €95 is donated to Save the Children. To strengthen its commitment, Bulgari is also donating the same amount of money for each piece sold in the collection, which includes a ring for £520, a bracelet for £570 and two other pendant necklaces respectively sold at £680 and £610.

Over the course of the last 15 years, an astonishing $ 105 million has been raised in this way. These important donations have contributed to Save The Children being able to extend its reach to more than two million children across 37 countries. Its primary focus remains to ensure quality education, empowering youth, emergency response, and combating poverty.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari, acknowledges the importance their association with Save The Children plays in raising essential funds and awareness. “Walking alongside Save the Children for 15 years has been a great honor for Bulgari. Together we were pioneers in creating a partnership, carrying out long-term projects, and giving concrete support to millions of children.”

About this, their 15th year of collaboration, he added, “We celebrate this important anniversary with the aim of continuing with the same strength and common passion in giving opportunities to many other children.”

For his part, Claudio Tesauro, Chair of Save the Children Italy, commented, “I am thrilled that Bulgari has chosen to celebrate this continued partnership with Save the Children with a new unique piece of jewelry: a symbol of the change this collaboration has brought about in the lives of millions of children around the world.”

The 2024 campaign was shot under the exquisite artistic direction of photographer Fabrizio Ferri, who has worked on previous Bulgari and Save the Children partnerships. The video element of the campaign, which launches on 7th February, prominently features Bulgari Global Brand Ambassador Anne Hathaway; The Devil Wears Prada actress started to work with the brand back in 2022 when she was seen at the Cannes Film Festival wearing their signature pieces.

She is joined by model Eva Herzigova, Image Architect Law Roach, Spanish fashion model and actor, Jon Kortajarena, and conductor Beatrice Venezia, who all share stories of how Save The Children is positively impacting the lives of young people from around the globe. Tesauro explained, “Each child has a unique story of resilience and strength that deserves to be told, and we are delighted that Bulgari continues to support us in this endeavor.”

Despite the great strides taken there is still much work to be done, particularly for the 468 million children living in conflict-affected areas, the 222 million of them in crisis situations requiring educational support, and the 153 million who face acute hunger globally.

Tesauro concluded, “Save the Children and Bulgari have spent the last fifteen years working together to make the world a better place for children. This key milestone marks both the end of a fantastic path traveled together, but also an exciting new beginning.”

The new Bulgari and Save the Children pendant necklace is exclusively available for pre-sale on BULGARI.COM and worldwide in selected Bulgari stores starting from 15th January.
