There are few maisons whose very name conjures the magic of winter quite like Harry Winston. The Winston Cluster Collection feels especially resonant during the festive season. According to the House’s own historical account, it was one December night in the 1940s when Harry Winston noticed the way fresh snow glistened across a holly wreath on the door of his Scarsdale home, a sight that awakened his vision for letting diamonds rather than settings dictate the design of his jewels. It is difficult to imagine a more poetic origin story for a collection now synonymous with brilliance, depth and holiday radiance.
That spark of inspiration led to the House’s signature technique of clustering, a revolutionary approach in which pear, marquise and round brilliant diamonds are carefully grouped and set at varying angles to create three-dimensional, sculptural pieces that capture the maximum light. The result is jewels that appear as if snow-kissed, with each stone shining as if illuminated by candlelight or winter sun.

For Christmas, the Cluster Collection feels tailor-made. Its most emblematic creation, the Wreath Necklace, draws directly from the holly wreath that inspired Winston himself. The necklace’s architecture is an opulent constellation of pear, marquise and round diamonds that evoke the soft curvature of winter foliage, rendered with a precision that takes more than a year to complete.
Although Mr Harry Winston was known as the ‘King of Diamonds’, his creativity, skill and expertise extended to colour gemstones and so the tradition continues with the Winston Cluster Color collection, which includes emeralds, rubies, pink and blue sapphires, very much in line with the season’s palette.

The iconic Harry Winston Cluster three-dimensional architecture brought to life in the Color collection, with vivid colour gems (emeralds, rubies and sapphires) alongside the purity and sparkle of signature Winston diamonds.
Floating in near-invisible platinum settings, these jewels sparkle like the richest ornaments in a Christmas tree, catching the glow of a firelight. Whether as earrings, pendants or rings, these pieces celebrate colour and light with the joyful intensity of the holidays.
Inspired by winter and rooted in nature, the Cluster Collection is Harry Winston’s homage to the poetry of the festive season.
