An anniversary extravaganza

In 2005, with Jean-Claude Biver at the helm, Hublot launched the model that would put the company firmly on the map of luxury watchmaking: the Big Bang. In that same year, the watch won the design prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Since then, the Big Bang collection has accounted for around 40 percent of Hublot’s sales.

“The Hublot Big Bang is undoubtedly a modern icon,” says CEO Julien Tornare. “As we celebrate 20 years, we honour its past while looking ahead to the next two decades of groundbreaking innovation.”

To mark the occasion, Hublot has gone all guns blazing and is releasing several anniversary collections within the Big Bang range that prove the technical prowess of the brand and its continued appetite for innovation. The first one is the Hublot Big Bang 20th Anniversary Collection.

Playing tribute to the company’s motto “The Art of Fusion”, Hublot is bringing together past and future with five limited-edition models based on the original 2005 Big Bang, to which they have applied the latest advancements in watchmaking technology.

Each anniversary edition revisits the Big Bang’s signature…
