NORQAIN Returns to Soccer Aid for UNICEF

NORQAIN’s return to Soccer Aid for UNICEF marks the cementing of a relationship that started last year, when the independent Swiss watchmaker made its debut as Official Timekeeper. This year is a special milestone, the 20th anniversary of the charity event. Founded in 2006, the match has now raised more than £121 million for children around the world, with the 2026 fixture set for 31 May at London Stadium.

NORQAIN has been steadily building its profile in the UK and Ireland since 2021, just three years after its foundation. By now, NORQAIN has a wide presence in luxury retailers across the country, such as Bucherer, Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Fraser Hart, among many others. Still family-owned and independent, NORQAIN has built its reputation on mechanical watches with an outdoorsy, sporty edge, spread across its Independence, Adventure and Freedom collections.

Design for sport an adventure, the NORQAIN Independence Skeleton in Khaki is a rugged, 40mm COSC-certified sports watch
featuring a black DLC-coated case, anthracite skeletonised dial and Milanaise rubber strap.

That character comes through especially well in the Independence Skeleton. As a watch, it feels entirely in tune with the energy of an event like Soccer Aid: dynamic, structured and just a little bit extrovert. The 40mm model is housed in stainless steel, water resistant to 100 metres, and fitted with sapphire crystal front and back, allowing the skeletonised movement to do much of the talking. Officially COSC-certified, it brings the reassuring technical credibility collectors expect, but its real charm is visual. Bridges, cut-outs and layered geometry give the dial a sense of depth and motion, while the finishing keeps the whole thing crisp rather than cluttered. It is a sports watch with presence, but also one with enough precision in its design to reward a closer look.

Seen in that light, the Soccer Aid for UNICEF partnership is a neat reflection of what NORQAIN does best: pairing modern sporting spirit with something more lasting underneath.
