At the beach club, less fabric leaves more room for jewellery. This summer, gold, diamonds and coloured stones are not waiting for sunset: they belong by the pool, over lunch and well into the evening. Worn with swimwear, sheer dresses and easy resort pieces, even the most serious jewels suddenly look a little less serious, which is precisely the fun of it. In this edit, we bring you five looks that let the jewellery lead, from poolside gold to diamonds after dark.
Citrus Spark
Torlowei’s orange lace brings an easy holiday spirit to one of jewellery’s most recognisable motifs. The diamonds add a touch of indulgence, while Chanel’s beige gold sits beautifully against warm, sun-touched colour.

Poolside Geometry
Bond-Eye’s red crinkle swimwear sharpens the clean lines of the Bucherer Skyline set. Yellow gold and diamonds give the simple silhouette a stronger, more graphic finish.

Written in the Stars
A crisp Lauren Ralph Lauren two-tone bikini leaves plenty of room for Dior’s celestial motifs. Suns, moons and eight-pointed stars bring colour and symbolism to an otherwise pared-back look.

Diamonds After Dark
Mesh having a major fashion moment, bridging apparel and accessories through tactile transparency, structural fluidity, and an edgy refined aesthetic. As a structure that works both as texture and material, this sheer black dress by Bond-Eye is made of mesh fabric, designed to flatter and accentuate the silhouette calls jewellery with real presence. In Graff’s jewellery, flexible pavé mesh follows the body closely, carrying the look naturally from the beach to the evening.

Chain Reaction
This bold orange-and-black Torlowei dress works well with jewellery that favours texture over sparkle. Two Kismet chains are worn for extra texture an impact.

The trick is not to match too carefully. Let a bikini sharpen a necklace, or use a fluid dress as the backdrop for gold that catches the last of the sun. Beach-club dressing works best when it looks spontaneous, even when the bling has been planned all along.
