Bvlgari Spa has partnered with Swiss boutique skincare brand LOYA for an exclusive collaboration, bringing together Bvlgari’s signature luxury and expertise with LOYA’s innovative approach to skincare. At the heart of the partnership is the Facial of Joy, a treatment designed to promote collagen production, hydration and balance.
From the moment I arrived, the spa felt uniquely peaceful. A warm welcome at reception set the tone before I was shown into the treatment room, where soft music and a pre-heated treatment bed were waiting. Those thoughtful little touches made it easy to switch off and feel completely zen.
The facial began with LOYA’s 3-in-1 cleanser, applied with a unique treatment brush. Its fan-shaped bristles swept the formula across my skin, creating a cooling, featherlight sensation. This was followed by an exfoliating essence, designed to lift away dead skin cells, which was then removed lightly with cotton pads.

The Facial of Joy at Bvlgari Spa combines LOYA luxury skincare with cleansing, massage and targeted facial techniques
designed to hydrate, lift and restore radiance.
My favourite part came next, a lifting and sculpting gua sha facial massage. The gentle pressure released tension I hadn’t even realised I was holding, particularly around my jaw and cheeks, while the rhythmic movements made the treatment feel deeply relaxing.
Then came the final layers of skincare. The therapist applied LOYA serum, eye cream and a plumping moisturiser using smooth, upward movements. The products felt soothing and nourishing and the careful application added to the sense that every stage of the facial had been considered.
By the time the treatment ended, I felt reset. I left the hotel feeling calm, refreshed and genuinely pampered, with that lovely post-spa feeling of having briefly escaped the pace of everyday life. My skin looked fresher and more luminous, with a dewy finish. It also felt beautifully hydrated, smooth and plump, while my face appeared more rested and subtly sculpted.
The Facial of Joy felt like more than a skincare treatment, it was a peaceful sensory ritual from beginning to end, combining effective products with thoughtful techniques and Bvlgari’s unmistakable sense of luxury. The exclusive Bvlgari Spa and LOYA experience is available through December 2026.
